• OS support: official wording says all PC OSes and PlayStation 2, while explicitly labeling Linux support third-party. The Windows .NET utility configures IDs/settings.
• Tracking/sensors: gun camera sees two clusters in one USB-powered bar immediately above the image. The optional Super IR Bar is recommended for 50-inch-and-larger displays.
• Recoil: separate model; requires one external 24-36 V supply per gun. Supply is not included. The manufacturer's voltage/current warnings are safety-critical.
• Calibration: stored three-point calibration initiated by holding trigger. It must be performed at intended distance/height with the gun vertical. Utility sensor view diagnoses bar visibility and IR interference.
• Multi-gun: officially up to four, each with unique ID; MAME/raw-input multi-mouse mapping must also be configured.
• Displays: officially CRT, LCD and plasma. Minimum distance grows with screen size; both bar clusters must remain visible at all aim extremes. Excessive tilt is not reliable.
• Documented emulators: detailed MAME guide, Batocera v35+ and a game-specific PlayStation 2 guide. PS2 support is not universal; PS1 games do not work through this PS2 USB method.

Advantages: mature product; stored settings; OEM cabinet module; four IDs; unusual direct PS2 path.

Limitations: position/bar geometry sensitivity; calibration retries; large-room requirement; tilt limitation; external recoil power; game-specific PS2 support.

Independent observation: Batocera rates AimTrak 2/5, estimates 2-2.5x display width and notes repeated calibration attempts.
